Happy Easter Bunny Everybody!

With the vintage postcard above (from my postcard collection), I’m sending my “Easter Greetings” along to you!

Did the Easter Bunny come see you? My spoiled angels have already taken their baskets away to horde in their rooms.

Now, we’re getting ready for a traditional Easter Sunday dinner at my house. The potato salad (from my mother’s recipe) is in the fridge. The ham and baked beans are in the oven. Collard greens are simmering on the stove, and I’m making the deviled eggs. (When I first got married, my mother-in-law always put me in charge of deviled eggs, so I still think about her when I make them.) The coconut cake’s sitting on the counter looking pretty (It’s chocolate on the inside.) My daughters are arguing over who’s going to set the table. (Last summer, I got lucky and found a set of multicolored pastel vintage Moderntone Platonite dishes at an estate sale that’s just perfect for Easter.)

Hope you’re having a grand and glorious day! (Hunt a few Easter eggs for me...my kids think they’re too big now.)
