Cinco de Mayo Teen Party Fare
Happy Cinco de Mayo! For me, Cinco de Mayo and food are synonymous! (Truthfully food in general just works for me anytime!) In honor of this Cinco de Mayo, I thought I’d share a great menu plan from our Celebrating Party Foods cookbook—the Teen Fiesta!
Teens love to turn up the volume on everything, including taste! This South of the Border fiesta treats them to hot and spicy flavors and then lets them chill out with icy fruit punch and a cake that’s cool and creamy! The menu for this fiesta includes:
Ice-cold, slushy Orange-Pineapple Punch, spicy Mini Beef Nachos, Cheesy Been Burritos, and Mexican Macaroni and Cheese…
White Cheese Dip, South of the Border Salsa, and tortilla chips…
And Tres Leches Cake (named for the three milks that make it so rich and moist)!
This yummy party menu might be billed as a “Teen Fiesta,” but I’m pretty sure that I’d be happy eating these goodies myself to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! If this menu works for you, too…order your own copy of our Celebrating Party Foods cookbook (print version) or get the downloadable version, so you can start the fiesta right now!
